Hi there!
I brainstorm, pitch, write, and edit children's nonfiction/activity books, parenting essays about all the ways I try to survive until bedtime, and articles about empowering women in the workplace for national media outlets like Scholastic Inc., National Geographic, NBC News Digital, and The Week.
I accept a limited number of clients for content creation and pitch writing, and I coach students through the often-daunting and always emotional process of writing application essays. With my expertise, students have been accepted to undergrad and grad programs at Harvard, Vanderbilt, and Brown.
Though I assumed I would use my fancy MA in English Lit from Boston College to write about imagery in Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, I am thrilled to instead be writing practical joke books for nine-year-olds.
I adore making writing sparkle.

I sang and danced in a Tony-winning Broadway show all across the country—from Florida to Alaska—and even on a Greek mountaintop.
As part of an ‘80s dance company called The Spangles, I high-kicked my way onto America’s Got Talent and The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
I once played the creepy little girl from The Ring in a guerrilla marketing campaign. I terrified shoppers in the old Virgin Records in Union Square by lurking behind them while cameras captured their jump scares.
Answer: Just kidding—they’re all true!
